David McKinlry Lusk (1824-1906) was a newspaperman and politician. He published—with Pembroke V. Wise—the North-western Democrat in Prescott from 1858-1860, and then the Winona Herald. In 1864 he moved his family to River Falls.
His obituary in the December 13, 1906, River Falls Journal states, “Mr. Lusk was a man of more than ordinary intelligence, a man of studious habits, interested in politics, and for many years taking active part in political campaigns.”
