My ancestor Andrew Pearce is listed in Fold3 and on ancestry as having served in the Wisconsin 50th Regiment – Company H. He is not listed here. Birth 25 October 1822 – Cornwall, England Death 27 April 1886 – Adamsville, Wisconsin. He lived in Ridgeway, Iowa Co, Wisconsin.
Hi Karen – We only list those soldiers who were living in northwestern Wisconsin (Pierce, St. Croix, and Polk counties) when they enlisted or were drafted. We give you a link to the full company roster to find other members yourself, which you already have. I see in the roster that he is listed as being from Prairie du Chien when he enlisted in Company H–and we only listed Company G because that was the only company in the 50th with a lot of men from northwest Wisconsin.
