Thomas Randall (Abt. 1815-1863)

Thomas Randall, born around 1815 in Massachusetts, was a farmer in the Town of River Falls in 1860.  He enlisted July 7, 1862, in what became Company A of the 20th Wisconsin Infantry.  He died March 30, 1863, in Saint Louis, Missouri, from “disease.”

The following obituary appeared in the April 18, 1863, issue of The Prescott Journal:

DIED

At St. Louis, Mo. March 30,1863, Thomas Randall, aged 45 years.

The deceased was one of the pioneer settlers of River Falls, having come to the county about eight years ago.  In July last he volunteered under Lieut. York in Co. A. 20th Regiment.
