The Civil War and Northwest Wisconsin 
I have been researching the 29th Regiment United States Colored Troops for many years. There are a number of African American men in this regiment and others who enlisted in the USCT (Pierce County in particular), and others who lived in NW Wisconsin after the war. I would be glad to share this with you.
