I have been researching the 29th Regiment United States Colored Troops for many years. There are a number of African American men in this regiment and others who enlisted in the USCT (Pierce County in particular), and others who lived in NW Wisconsin after the war. I would be glad to share this with you.

We’d love to have any information you have collected on NW Wisconsin men with a connection to the 29th USCT. Thanks! Our email address is archives @ uwrf.edu.
