Henry J. White, of Hudson, enlisted on November 1, 1861. Even though he enlisted six months after the rest, he still managed to get assigned to Company G of the 4th Wisconsin—the Hudson City Guards. But it didn’t last long; on January 1, 1862, he was transferred to the regimental band. White was mustered out on September 18, 1862.
