44th Wisconsin Infantry Regiment, Company A

Company A of the 44th Wisconsin Infantry contained soldiers mainly from Saint Croix and Pierce counties in Northwest Wisconsin.  Most of them enlisted in August and September of 1864, and a few in February of 1865.  These are only the soldiers from Northwest Wisconsin; for the full company roster, see the Roster of Wisconsin Volunteers, 1861-1865.
