Alonzo R. Kibbe, originally from Janesville, Wisconsin, enlisted on August 15, 1862. He served as a corporal in the 12th Battery, Wisconsin Light Artillery. Kibbe was wounded December 15, 1864, and discharged May 10, 1865.
After the war, Kibbe lived in New Richmond in Saint Croix County.
